The screening test will be conducted in an online mode without any direct invigilation of the centre. This test will only be a selection test but students who will score above the cut-off marks will have to appear for an online interview. The date of the interview will be informed personally. Based on the obtained ranks, candidates can either select the IIT or AIIMS batch. The selection list is going to be published six days after the screening test. Candidates can check the same from brilliantpala.org. Eventually, the rank lists will be prepared based on the marks scored by the candidates in the screening test and interview.
Take note that this screening test will be common for both the IIT and AIIMS batches. It will be based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The question paper will contain two parts. The first part or Part-1 will contain Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) in which the incorrect answers will be penalized. On the other hand, the second part or Part-2 will comprise of questions that have numerical answers. However, there will be no negative marking for the numerical questions.
A tie-breaking order will be followed for two candidates who have obtained equal marks. Firstly, the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Mathematics will get a higher rank. In case the tie persists, then the candidate obtaining higher marks in Physics will receive the higher rank. However, if the tie still persists, then both the candidates will be allotted the same rank. A separate scholarship test will be held for the selected students. Please note that the date and syllabus of the separate scholarship test will be notified later.
