Bihar Public Service Commission has recently published the advertisements for Professor and Associate Professor in Physics Department. As per the notification, 07 vacancies are announced for Associate Professor and 08 are announced or Professor. Download the notification with Advt No. 27/2020 for Associate Professor and Advt No. 28/2020 for Professor post. Both of these advertisements can be downloaded from the BPSC website, bpsc.bih.nic.in. The online registrations for this recruitment will start from August 28, 2020, to September 16, 2020. The last date to submit BPSC recruitment 2020 application form of September 28, 2020.
Before applicants start the online registration, we suggest them to read the eligibility criteria first. Those who are intending to apply for Professor post must possess a PhD degree in Physics and first-class at either a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Physics. A minimum of 10 years of work experience in teaching/ research industry is required to apply for Professor post. However, out of these 10 years, 03 years should be at an equivalent post of an Associate Professor. Also, candidates must have at least 06 research publications at the level of Associate Professor. To apply for Associate Professor post, candidates must have complete PhD degree in Physics and first-class in Bachelors or Master level in the Physics. They should also have at least 06 research publications in SCI journal/ UGC/ AICTE approved journals and minimum 08 years of experience in teaching/ research industry.
Also, BPSC has specified the age limit for both the aforementioned posts. To apply for Professor post, candidates age should not exceed that of 32 years and for Associate Professor, candidates age should not be more than 30 years. The age for both the posts is calculated as on August 01, 2020.
Eligible candidates must visit the official website of BPSC website, bpsc.bih.nic.in. To get the application and registration link, click on the apply online > BPSC online application, apply button against the advertised post. First, candidates have to register themselves to receive an auto-generated username and password. While submitting the application form, general category candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- and SC/ ST of Bihar state/ Physical Disabled Candidates/ Bihar State Domicile candidates have to pay Rs. 25/- only. Moreover, the filled-in application form should be sent to the “Joint Secretary Exam Controller, Bihar Public Service Commission, 15, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg (Beli Road), Patna 800001”. The hard copy of the application form should reach the conducting body by October 05, 2020.
Along with the application form, candidates also have to send certain documents. Enclose, 10th pass certificate, graduation mark sheet and certificate, post-graduation mark sheet and certificate, PhD mark sheet and certificate, UGC and AICTE approved distance mode/ open university certificate, caste certificate and other relevant documents.
