BITS Pilani will be issuing the admit card to all the candidates who have booked their BITSAT 2019 Slots from April 12, 2019. The last date to download the admit card is May 10, 2019. In addition to that, the slot booking that is now ongoing will be ending tomorrow, April 12, 2019, at 5:00 PM. The slot booking and admit card download is to be done at bitsadmission.com.
Slot booking is a process with the help of which the candidates can select their most preferred exam date, time and center to appear in the examination. The candidates just need to log in using their BITSAT 2019 application number and password to access the slot booking.
Once the candidates are through with the slot booking they have to wait for the download admit card link over the official website of BITSAT 2019. The slot booking is done in the first come first serve basis and therefore the candidates are advised to book their slots to get their most preferred slots to appear in the exam.
The BITSAT admit card will have the same details of the exam date and time as the candidates have themselves booked during the slot booking. However, in addition to that, the admit card will also have detailed exam instructions. the candidates have to appear in the exam as per those instructions only.
BITSAT 2019 will be held in online mode across 49 cities in India and 1 center abroad (Dubai). There will be MCQ based questions only in the exam, the candidates have to mark the correct answer out of them on the computer. The questions will be asked from Chemistry, Physics, English Proficiency-Logical Reasoning and Mathematics / Biology. The marking scheme of the exam is that for each correct answer the candidates get 3 marks and for each incorrect answer 1 mark is deducted.
The highest cutoff of BITSAT exam last year was in B.E. Computer Science and it was 378 marks. the cutoff is different for all the campuses. however, the Pilani Camus witnesses more cutoff marks as compared to other BITS campuses at Goa and Hyderabad.
A unique feature of BITSAT 2019 is that the candidates who complete all the 150 questions without skipping any one of them and have time left can attempt extra 12 questions. Such candidates will get extra marks for these questions. These questions will be from Chemistry, Physics, English Proficiency-Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics / Biology, itself.
Birla Insitute Of Technology and Science has been ranked at number 25 in the engineering category of the NIRF 2019 rankings. In the overall category, it has been ranked at number 39.
