Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) has started the registration process for the academic year 2019-21. BITS Pilani Department of Management offers the MBA programme, the application form for which is available until February 15, 2019 (05:00 PM). The application fee is Rs 2950/- for each applicant. For now, the MBA programme is not available at the BITS Goa and Hyderabad Campuses.
In order to take admission to BITS Pilani MBA, candidates must have B.E./B.Tech in Engineering or a Masters Degree. It could be in any discipline from any recognized university. Candidates who have Integrated first degree of BITS can also apply for the programme. Also, applicants must have atleast 60% aggregate in the qualifying degree.
Candidates can access the application form for BITS at bits-pilani.ac.in. In there, fill all the details and pay the application form. Following that, take the print out of the form and send it to the institute address along with the fee payment proof. The form should reach the institute latest by February 23, 2019, until 5:00 PM. Candidates must submit the application after re-checking it carefully; otherwise, applicants will have to fill the new form and pay the fee again. The exam fee can be paid via Credit/ Debit Card, Net Banking, or cash payment at ICICI Bank branches.
BITS accepts GMAT/ CAT score for admission to the MBA course. Candidates clearing the cut-off will be called for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) round. Selected students have to appear for these rounds at Pilani campus during March/April 2019. Apart from GDPI round, candidates academic score and work experience will also be taken into consideration.
Apart from good academic exposure, BITS Pilani offers amazing placements to its students. In the previous session, 95% of students were placed out of 62 students participated in the placement process. The highest annual salary package crossed Rs.17.35 lakhs. Even, the average of the top 25% students was Rs.12.5 lakhs. In the placement round, 36 companies visited the campus. Some of them were Cognizant, Accenture, HolidayIQ, India Mart, Byju’s, William O’Neal etc.
