Bihar Board 12th Compartment Result 2018 will be announced on August 20, 2018. Earlier, it was expected to be declared on August 16, 2018. But due to the demise of the former Prime Minister, Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the result declaration got postponed. In order to the state mourning, the result will not be released today. So, the students can expect the compartment results on Monday.

The candidates will be able to get the compartment results on the official website i.e. biharboardonline.com. In order to check the result, the students will have to submit the roll number or roll code or name of the candidate. After submitting the details, Bihar Board 12th Compartmental Result 2018 will appear to you.

Around 1.55 lakh candidates had appeared for the compartmental exams. Bihar Board conducted the supplementary exams from July 13 to July 20, 2018. As the 50% questions of the compartmental exams were objective questions, so, the board released the answer key for the convenience of the students on August 05, 2018.

Bihar Board Passing Marks

According to the marking scheme of Bihar Board, a student needs to obtain minimum 30% marks of the total scores in the theory papers and 40% of the total in practical exams then he/she will get the result status as pass. To get the first division, a candidate will have to gain at least 300 marks while for the second division, it is a minimum 225 marks.

Grace Policy of Bihar Board

The grace marks had been increased for the students this year. If the student gets fail by not more than 8% in one subject or 4% in the case of two subjects then the board gives the marks he/she is short of. If any student got 75% overall and is failed in the only subject by not more than 10% then he/she will be declared pass.

Earlier, BSEB 12th Result 2018 was announced on June 06, 2018n for the March exams. This year around 53% candidates passed the exams out of the total appeared candidates. Talking about the streamwise pass percentage then about 61% students passed in Arts stream while for Science and Commerce stream the number was 44% and 91% respectively.

Last year, BSEB 12th Compartment Result was declared on August 12, 2017.

The overall pass percentage was around 71.36%. In 2017, approximately 40,593 candidates witnessed the pass status in their compartmental result of Arts stream, whereas the number is 22,000 in Commerce, and 50,430 in Science. Coming to the special examination then about 43.13% students passed the exams.

Bihar board is the permitted official conducting body of class 10th and 12th exams. The board is well known as BSEB. The board works under the government of Bihar. It is a state level organization which works for the people of Bihar state. It was established in the year 1952. BSEB works for the candidates who want to get the education in the secondary and sr.secondary level. Along with the general category candidates, the board also serves the candidates who want to get the education as the open school. BSEB also conducts the exams for Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for Bihar state, Diploma in Physical Education, Simultaltala Residential Entrance Examinations etc.
