Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga successfully conducted the Bihar B.Ed Common Entrance Test )CET) 2021 on August 13, 2021. A total of 1,36,772 candidates had registered for the exam out of which 75,525 were males and 61,238 were females. Now that the exam has been conducted, students are waiting for the official answer key and results. There’s no doubt that both documents will be published on the official website bihar-cetbed-lnmu.in. But, authorities have not specified the dates for answer key releases and publication of results. If we check the records of past years then the provisional answer key is likely to release tomorrow, i.e August 15, 2021.
Last year, the Bihar B.Ed. CET examination was conducted on September 22. More than 1 lakh students had appeared for the entrance exam. Authorities released the provisional answer key two days later, on September 24, 2021. Candidates were allowed to raise objections against the provisional answer key. This facility remained open till September 27, 2020. After considering all the objections and making the required changes, results were announced on September 30, 2020.
If the same schedule of events is expected to follow this year then the university authorities are likely to release the provisional answer key on August 15, 2021. Candidates will be able to access this answer key on the official website. They may also get a 3-day period ending on August 18, 2021, to raise objections against the provisional answer key.
The university authorities will consider all the objections received and make changes accordingly. After doing so, a final answer key will be released. Moreover, students will be evaluated based on the final answer key and results may come out on August 21, 2021.
The results will specify important details like the candidate’s name, roll number, registration number, marks scores, rank obtained and whether a candidate has qualified or not. To access the scorecard, candidates will have to key in their credentials such as examination roll number and password.
This is just a tentative timeline and may be subjected to changes. Candidates are advised to frequent the official website and reliable news portals for important updates.
Candidates who qualify for the Bihar B.Ed. CET 2021 examination will have to attend the counselling session. Last year, the first round of counselling began on October 03. Considering this timeline, the counselling session is likely to begin in the last week of August, preferably by August 24-25, 2021. While announcing the counselling schedule, authorities will also specify the important dates and timings, documents required, etc.
