The Bihar Board today on June 26, 2018, has announced the 10th standard result on the official website. The wait has been over after the examination took place from February 21 to 28, 2018. There is cheer among students after receiving the amazing scores. This year more than 17 Lakh students appeared for the exam, in which 68.89% of students passed the exam, a rise of 18.77% from previous year. Whereas in the Bihar Board Class 12 exam this year 52.95% of students passed the exam.

This year, the limelight has been upon Prerna Raj who has secured the first position in Bihar board matric result. With her constant preparation, she has proved that hard work never fails to show good result. In all the subjects together, she has scored 457 out of 500 in the examination. Making 91.4 percent as the highest of this year. The second position is secured by jointly shared by Pragya and Shikha Kumari.
“This year toppers will get a stipend of Rs 1,200 per month for two years to pursue higher secondary education.”
The result this year has been announced by Education Minister Krishna Nandan Prasad Verma, Chairman Anand Kishor and Principal Secretary R K Mahajan at the Headquarters office in Patna. Candidates who haven’t checked their result can do the same form biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. The disturbing news that a total of 448 students were barred from the exam. This step has been taken after discovering the cases malpractices. Moreover, 93 examinees were caught for writing papers for some students.
The result previously was expected to release on June 20 but, due to missing Class 10 papers were from an exam center in Bihar leads to the delay. Moreover, Class 10 exams took place at 1,426 centers across the state.

For the students who could not able to clear the examination has the chance to reappear to pass the exam. The Class 10th examination will conduct again in the month of July. Further, the results of compartment exams will declare in the month of July 2018. The students can apply for the compartment exams through the official websites from June 28, 2018, onwards.
