Beltron, Bihar State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. has released the admit card for data entry operator exam. To download the admit card, candidates who had applied for the recruitment need to visit bsedc.bihar.gov.in and click “Downloading link for Admit card for DEOs (2019, fresh candidates”, and then login with registration number, date of birth.
Candidates who had registered during March-April 2019 against advertisement number 1754 / 19 dated March 8, 2019, have already been informed through a previous notification of his month, that the organization is conducting an efficiency test in November-December 2019. The exam will start on November 27, 2019. All the exams will be held in TCS-iON centre of Patna.
The proposed exam will be held in computer based test mode. First of all there will be a test on computer knowledge. It will be of 1 hour, with 60 multiple choice questions. To qualify it, candidates will need 50% marks. Syllabus of the exam will be same as syllabus of National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) data entry operator (DEO) code 336.
Those who qualify in the exam will be asked to appear in typing test. Detailed notification for the same will be released in leading dailies of the state in print when the time comes. Typing tests will be in hindi as well as in English. Each typing test will be of 10 marks, and there will be a gap of 10 minutes between the two. Hindi typing test will be taken mangal font and remington gail keyboard. To qualify, candidates will need to get 30 wpm in english, and 25 wpm in hindi.
Merit list will be compiled for the purpose of deployment for those who qualify these tests.
BELTRON recruitment 2019 notification was released on March 26, and candidates could apply from then to April 26. 12th class pass candidates with 1 year computer course were invited to apply.
The original notification had said “The services providing Agency shall empanel the quality cleared candidates for offering their services. The services of empanelled candidates may be drafted depending on requirements received from requisitioning users. The selected candidates shall enter into an agreement (contract) with the agency, to offer services at mutually agreed terms. Their contract arrangement shall not create any claim for job at Beltron or in users offices. A registration fee of Rs. 1000.00 (Rupees one thousand) plus Rs. 50 banking charge only shall have to be deposited through Bank Challan in the IOB A/C no. 151201000011521 and proof of educational qualification, photo, signature etc. shall have to be uploaded for registarion. Candidates must check the details of exam including their exam date, timings, and instructions. It will be mandatory to carry items specified in the admit card, and the admit card itself, in order to gain entry and take the tests.
