Bank of India has recently released the official notification for the recruitment of Specialist Security Officers and Fire Officers. The conducting body has advertised a total of 21 vacancies under MMGS-II scale. Applicants who are interested in recruitment can download the advertisement for Project Number 2020-21/3. Online registration will start from December 07, 2020, at bankofindia.com. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications before December 21, 2020.
Out of the total advertised vacancies, Bank of India has announced 20 vacancies for Security Officer and 01 vacancies for Fire Officer. These vacancies are available in the Mumbai office of Bank of India. Applicants recruited under Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II) get a salary of the pay scale of Rs. 31705-1145/1- 32850-1310/10 – 45950.
To apply for Security Officer posts, candidates must have a graduation degree. With that, a certificate in computer course for a minimum of 03 months or Information Technology or related paper as one of the subjects at graduation level is required. They should have worked as an officer in the Army/ Navy/ Air Force for five years. Those who have worked as Police Officer not below the Deputy Superintendent rank for 05 years can also apply. Candidates who have served for the rank equivalent to Assistant Commandant with minimum 05 years of Paramilitary Forces.
Bank of India Specialist Security Officers and Fire Officer Notification
Applicants who have B.E (Fire Engineering) from National Fire Service College, Nagpur or B.E (Fire Engineering)/ B.Tech.(Safety & Fire Engineering/ B. Tech (Fire Technology & Safety Engineering) can apply for the Fire Officer position. Those who have B.Sc and have passed the Station Officer Course can also apply. They should also have certification in Computer course for a minimum of 03 months or IT or related papers as one of the subjects.
The application form for Bank of India recruitment releases online at bankofindia.com. Applicants can submit their forms in three major steps – application registration, payment of fees and photograph & signature uploading. Ensure that before candidates start submitting their forms, they possess a valid email address and mobile number. These should remain active for the entire recruitment process.
Candidates are required to pay the Rs. 850/- as the application fee for Bank of India recruitment. Reserved category candidates (SC/ ST) have to pay only intimation charges which is Rs. 175/-. The fee can be paid via online payment gateways. Applicants can use Master/ Visa Debit or Credit cards or internet banking to make the payment.
The selection of candidates for this recruitment is done on the basis of Personal interview and/ or Group discussion.
