The Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) is all set to conduct the Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AIHMCT) Entrance on June 29, 2022. Candidates can apply online at aihmctbangalore.edu.in. for Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM)course. The application fee is Rs. 1000 and candidates have to pay the fees online through debit, credit cards, or net banking. Candidates who have passed Class 12 or are appearing for Class 12 exams in 2022 can apply. The upper age limit is 22.
How to apply for AIHMCT BHM course?
Step 1: Visit the official website aihmctbangalore.edu.in
Step 2: Click on the ‘Admissions’ tab on the top of the screen.
Step 3: Now select the ‘COMPUTER BASED ONLINE APPLICATION FORM FOR BHM COURSE 2022- 23’.
Step 4: Register as a New User.
Step 4: Candidates have to enter valid details.
Step 5: In the next step, upload the relevant documents.
Step 6: Proceed to the payment process. The application is now complete.

While filling out the application form, candidates are required to submit a few documents including –
- Class 10 certificate
- Class 11 certificate
- Class 12 certificate/mention if appearing for Class 12 exam in the current year.
- Willingness Certificate
- Parent Declaration
- Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC)
- Details of Gallantry Awards
- Form of Self Declaration
- Eligibility certificates as mentioned in the website (Children of Army Personnel/ Step children of Army personnel/ Children of Army Medical Corps serving in Air Force/ Navy) signed by authorised personnel.
The exam duration is 3 hours. There are 5 sections in the exam- English, GK, Hospitality and Tourism, Logical Reasoning and Numerical Ability. The results are expected to be declared within a week of the exam date. Qualifying candidates will have to pay an admission fee to secure the seat, after which they will be called up for the counselling session. Also, candidates should be certified as being medically fit, at the time of admission. The BHM is a 4 year course.
