Army Recruitment Office, Jodhpur is all set to conduct a recruitment rally for different posts of SOL NA/NA (VET) and Sep D Pharma cat. Eligible candidates domiciled in the districts of Dungarpur, Jodhpur, Nagaur, Jaisalmer, Banswaram Udaipur, Sirohi, Pratapgarh, Barmer, Pali, and Jalore are invited to apply online through the Army recruitment website i.e. joinindianarmy.nic.in. The mandatory online registration and application process is scheduled to commence from August 08, 2020, and close on September 22, 2020. The tentative rally dates are between October 07, 2020, to March 31, 2021, although exact dates are to be announced later. Eligible applicants are to be issued admit cards for the rally around 15 days before the rally date by email.
As per the recruitment notice, eligible applicants are to be recruited into two distinct posts i.e. Sepoy D Pharma (Army Medical Corps) and Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant (AMC/NA VET). Candidates who are permanent residents of the aforementioned districts are eligible to apply. The age of the candidates must be within 19 to 25 years in order to apply for the post of Sepoy D Pharma. They must have passed Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and have a D. Pharma qualification (55% marks) and registered as a pharmacist in a state pharmacy council or PCI. Those who have a B.Pharma degree (50% marks) are also eligible to apply. Candidates within the age of 17.5 to 23 years are eligible to apply for the post of Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant. They must have passed Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany/Zoology and English with minimum marks of 50% in aggregate and 40% in each subject. The minimum height of the applicants must be 170 cm and weight must be 50 kg. They must have a 77 cm chest measurement along with a 5 cm expansion capacity.
The selection of the candidates is to be done through the rally which consists of the Physical Fitness Tests, Physical Standard Measurement, and Medical Test. The PFTs consist of 1.6 km run, Beam (Pull-Ups), 9 Feet Ditch, and Zig-Zag Balance. Candidates must qualify through these tests and then pass the physical standards measurement test as per the specified standards. One must also pass the Medical test. Those who are declared unfit at the Medical can go for the specialist review and if declared FIT, report back to the ARO for the issue of the admit card for the written test. To all other candidates who pass the Medicals at the site, the admit cards for the written exam are issued on the site indicating the date, time, and venue of the exam center.
Candidates are required to make arrangements for accommodation during the rally days and carry sufficient eatables and drinking water to the rally grounds. Specified documents must be carried to the rally grounds including the issued admit card and 20 copies of recent colored, unattested passport-sized photos clicked in white background. Alongside, candidates must also carry educational certificates, domicile certificates, caste & religion certificate, character and school character certificates, unmarried, and relationship certificates. In addition, sports or NCC certificates, Affidavit, bank account, PAN & AADHAR card must also be carried. The recruitment is free of any cost but all applicants must at first apply online at the website of the Indian Army.
