The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released the official notification for the Group 4 services to the post of Junior Assistant cum Computer Assistant in the AP Revenue Department.
A total of 670 vacancies will be filled across 13 districts in the state. The first-time applicants have to register their bio-data particulars via the One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the official website psc.ap.gov.in.
APPSC Group 4 Notification 2021 – Dates
Candidates will be able to submit online applications from December 30, 2021 onwards. However, the last date for doing the same is January 19, 2022. Similarly, the last date for paying the application fee is January 18, 2022.
Eligibility
The applying candidate must be a citizen of India. In terms of educational qualifications, they must hold a Bachelor’s degree and also pass the Computer Proficiency Test that is conducted by the District Collector. As per the APPSC Group 4 notification, the applicant must be of a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 42 years as on July 01, 2021. There will be category-wise age relaxations as well.
Application Form
Candidates desiring to apply have to first log in at psc.ap.gov.in using their OTPR number. The ones who are doing the OTPR process for the first time must carefully fill the particulars in the form. After that, they can follow the process given below.
Step 1- Log in using the OTPR credentials and click on ‘Online Application Submission’
Step 2- Click on the payment link against the notification number
Step 3- Enter the payment reference ID and fill in details such as qualification, exam centre, etc.
Step 4- The application receipt will be generated which must be saved.
Application Fee
The application processing fee is Rs 250 while the application fee is Rs 80. Reserved categories like SC, ST, BC, PH, Ex-Service Man and others are exempted from paying the examination fee only. Please note that the fee once remitted will not be refunded.
APPSC Group 4 2021 – Syllabus, Selection Process
The recruitment process for APPSC Group 4 will follow two stages. Candidates have to first appear for a screening test of 150 marks. This test will have an objective-type pattern and the questions will be asked from General Studies & Mental Ability and General English & General Telugu.
After the screening test, the Main examination will be conducted which is also going to be in an objective-type pattern. This round will have two papers for 300 marks. While the first paper is on General Studies & Mental Ability, the second one is General English & General Telugu. Please note that there will be a negative marking of 1/3rd of marks from the prescribed question.
