Today i.e. on April 12, 2019, the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education will announce the result for Inter first and second-year students. The candidates will get the result online at bieap.gov.in. The exams of 1st and 2nd year were held from February 27 and February 28, 2019, respectively. Last year, the result was declared on April 13, 2018.
The AP Inter Result 2019 will be available for First year General stream, First year Vocational stream, Second year General stream, and Second year vocational stream.
To check your result online visit the official website. Then click on the relevant link as per the class and stream. Enter the hall ticket number and other information. It is advised to all the students to check their marks obtained and download it. Take the print out of your result for future correspondence.
Other than the official website, the students will also be able to obtain the result through some of the third party websites such as indiaresults. com or results.nic.in or examresults.net.
Along with the marks, the board will also provide the relevant grades to the candidates. The marks distribution has been done as A1 grade 91-100 (10 grade points), A2 grade 81-90, B1 grade 71-80, B2 grade 61-70, C1 grade 51-60, C2 grade 41-50, D1 grade 35-40.
Last year, more than 10 lakh candidates had taken part in the exams. Out of the total students, about 509,909 were from Inter 1st year and 437,572 from Inter 2nd year. Among the first year students, 4,78,621 candidates were from the Regular or the General Category and 31,288 were from the Vocational Category. For the candidates, the pass percentage was 62% and 52% respectively. Last year, the highest pass percentage was of Chittoor district i.e. 58% and the least pass percentage was of 24% of Vizianagaram.
In the year 1953, the Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh was established and came into the functioning. It is also referred as Directorate of Government Examinations. The board was developed with the aim of providing as well as improving the education system at the state level. The board conducts the AP Inter main examinations in the month of February- March and in the month of June the board conducts the supplementary examination.
