Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) 2021 examination is all set to be conducted on September 17 and 18, 2021. Andhra University, Visakhapatnam will be conducting the entrance exam on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCE). With less than 24 hours entrance exam, previous-year question papers are the best way to into the exam grid. AP ICET 2021 examination is being conducted for candidates who wish to pursue MBA and MCA courses within the state of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates who qualify the exam will be allotted colleges based on their score or performance in the entrance exam.
AP ICET 2021 paper pattern and marking scheme
AP ICET 2021 examination will be conducted on September 17 and 18, 2021, in two shifts – first shift from 9:00 am to 11:30 pm and the second shift from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Thus, the exam will be held for a duration of 150 minutes, covering a total of 200 questions. For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded 1 mark while 0 marks will be allotted to unanswered/wrongly answered questions. Therefore, to the delight of candidates, there is no negative marking in the exam.
The AP ICET 2021 question paper will cover three broad subjects – 1. Analytical Ability, 2. Communication Ability, 3. Mathematical Ability. The first section will cover a total of 75 questions while 70 questions will be asked under the second section. Mathematical ability will cover a total of 55 questions.
AP ICET 2021 last-minute preparation tips
With less than 24 hours left for the AP ICET 2021, here are some last-minute tips for candidates to make their preparation concrete and final –
#1 Solve 1-2 previous-year question papers in a properly-timed manner to understand the preparation level. Only 1-2 papers are enough to avoid exhaustion or saturation of the mind.
#2 Revise the already-created formulae important and relevant for the Mathematical Ability section. In case such a list has not been created, refer websites online to get this list.
#3 In case of Communication Ability, spend some time reading today’s newspaper. Hindustan Times and the Economic Times has an appreciable vocabulary at least from the point-of-view of the exam.
# 4 Avoid starting or revising any tricky topic at the last moment. Have faith in the preparation, make sure to keep all the documents ready for the exam and get a good night’s sleep.
