Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University, Kakinada, today, August 19, 2021, conducted shift 2 of the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) 2021 examination. The second shift, conducted from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, was meant for candidates interested in the engineering stream. According to students, the overall difficulty level of Shift 2 paper was easy to moderate, similar to Shift 1. Today’s paper was aimed at testing the intellectual capabilities of students in three subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Here is a detailed analysis of AP EAMCET 2021 Day 1 Shift 2 examination.
The AP EAMCET 2021 Physics section was moderately difficult in the afternoon section. This was indeed a big relief for students as the morning section had asked tough questions in the subject. Similarly, the Chemistry section was easy to solve. Questions asked in the Mathematics section were of easy to moderate level.

In the Physics section, as many as 17 out of 40 questions were easy to solve. The remaining questions were either difficult or tricky to solve. AP EAMCET 2021 paper in shift 2 gave more weightage to chapters such as Thermodynamics, Semiconductors and Communication. However, the paper was balanced and covered almost all topics from each chapter. Students were able to find ample diversity in the type of questions asked in the exam.
In case of Mathematics section, around 40-42 questions were easy to solve and less time-consuming. This factor must have given candidates ample time to spend time on the difficult questions. Questions asked in the Mathematics section specifically focused on chapters like Vectors, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry and Calculus.
The Chemistry section was easiest to solve, again giving ample time for students to focus on difficult questions. The section was balanced, giving equal weightage to Organic, Physical and Inorganic syllabi. Questions were especially, asked from chapters such as Coordination Compounds, Biomolecules, S-Block, P-Block, D-Block and F-Block.
Comparing the AP EAMCET Day 1 papers from both shifts, the overall level of difficulty was same. The topics covered in the exam were more or less the same as well. Only the difficulty level of Physics section differed in both shifts.
Candidates appearing for the AP EAMCET 2021 tomorrow, August 20, 2021, can expect at least 10 questions from Algebra and more than 12 questions from Coordinate Geometry. Questions may also come from Matrices and Trigonometry as well. In case of Physics, questions can come from the Mechanics portion. For Chemistry, students are advised to be thorough with the different blocks and elemental properties.
While the JNTUK authorities have not uploaded any question paper or answer key, candidates can easily acquire them from other educational websites. The provisional and final answer keys for all days will be made available later on the official website sche.ap.gov.in.
