Aligarh Muslim University has announced that it will be conducting the entrance exam for B.Tech admission in the academic session 2019-20 on April 28, 2019. The entrance exam is known by the name of AMU Engineering Entrance Exam (AMUEEE). To appear in the exam, candidates have to apply online at amucontrollerexams.com. As per the notice on the website of AMU, the application forms are starting from the first week of January 2019.
As per the latest notice by the university, it has announce the entrance exam dates not only for B.Tech but also for other courses. The whole notification van be read below:
As per the notice, the schedule time for AMUEEE 2019 exam to start is 10:00 AM. To be able to appear for AMUEEE 2019 exam, candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 level in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Or the candidates must have a diploma degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Qualifying the entrance exam will lead to admission in B.Tech courses like Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering.
The syllabus for AMUEEE 2019 will be 10+2 level Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. the exam will be based on MCQ questions. There will be in total 150 questions which the candidates have to attempt in 3 hours. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the exam.
The exam will be conducted at Aligarh and outside Aligarh too. Candidates will be able to select the choice of their exam city while filling the AMUEEE 2019 Application Form online. the university is going to accept the application form in the online mode only. No hard copy will be accepted as application forms.
AMUEEE is conducted each year for admission in seven B.Tech courses and three B.E. courses. To take admission AMUEEE is compulsory which is followed by counselling and document verification rounds.
As of now AMU has released the exam dates only and the application form is expected to start from the first week of January 2019. No other notice has been released as of now. AMU is expected to release the entire details and the information brochure of AMUEEE 2019 soon now at their official website.
