Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has scheduled the AMU Law Entrance Exam 2019 on May 26, 2019. The schedule has been released for the students seeking admission in the 5 Year BA LLB course. Along with the exam date, AMU also gave a hint of the availability of the Application form and hopefully, the same will be available in the Online mode from the first week of January 2019. Students are informed that they have to fill the application form in the online mode only; however, the same can be submitted in both online as well as offline mode.
Until now, AMU has only released the exam date for AMU Law Entrance Exam 2019. The rest of the dates and more details are yet to be released. Till then the students have to make sure that they keep a check on the official website for regular updates.
Just filling the Application form for AMU Law Entrance Exam 2019 or mere appearing for the entrance exam does not guarantee admission. The candidate has to match the eligibility criteria as set by the AMU as well. Students must have completed at least 10+2 level of education with at least 50% marks.
Candidates will be given some time to finish filling their application forms. The last date for filling the Application form is expected to be the first week of March 2019. While filling the Application form, the students must make sure that they enter only valid details and provide all the relevant documents. Documents such as 10th class Mark Sheet, Class 12th Mark Sheet, Caste/PWD Certificate and any other document that supports any professional experience gained by the students have to be provided by the students.
Speaking of the number of seats available to the students, the Aligarh study location offers 100 seats for the LLB students while the AMU Centre, Mallapuram offers 60 and AMU Centre Mushidabad offers 60 seats to the students.
90% of the staff members in the faculty of Law have doctorate degrees in various specializations of Law. The admission to BA LLB course is done through entrance exam while the students seeking admission to LLM programme have to appear for the departmental test. The Department of Law runs also 3 PG diploma courses in various specializations.
