Aligarh Muslim University has released the AMU Application Form 2021 for admission in various UG/PG/Diploma courses. The candidates who are willing to seek admission in any of the same have to fill the application form released by the University. The application form for any of the courses is solely available on the website i.e. amucontrollerexams.com and there is no alternate way to apply for admission.
The application process is divided into two parts, Part 1 Registration and Part 2 Online Application Form. The candidates have to start by registering themselves, for which they have to visit the registration page and there they have to enter their Name, Official Email Id and pick a username and a password. Post-registration, they have to log in to the website using the same username and password. Thereafter, comes the updating Candidate’s profile section wherein they have to provide an alternate Email id, Adhaar Number, Parents name, Date of birth, Mobile Number, Correspondence & Permanent Address, Nationality, Religion and Choose hostel accommodation.
Next, the candidates have to update their Educational Qualification by specifying the name of the last exam qualified, year of passing, details of all exams passed i.e. Class Xth, XII, Graduation, Post Graduation etc, and aggregate CGPA obtained. For candidates whose last qualifying exam is not yet released, they have to fill in the details but mark RA in the marks column.
The next step of the AMU Application form is uploading the scanned documents i.e. left thumb impression, photograph and signature of the candidates. The type of the file extension should be JPEG and the size of the documents has to be in the range of 20kb to 200 kb.
Thereafter, comes the Special Category page that has to be filled by the candidate with three categories from the ones available on the page. However, the candidates get an option of choosing No if he does not belong to any of the Special Category and move further to the document upload page. On the document upload page, a scanned copy of the documents i.e. proof of DOB, Marksheets, Special Category, GATE scorecard, certificate of Professional Experience, and NOC has to be submitted by the employer. The file type should be JPEG and the size of documents should be between 200 KB to 2 MB.
The last step is the application fee payment step and has basically two sub-steps i.e. filling in specific application details and making the final application fee payment. As the application fee has to paid online the candidate should always use any payment gateway i.e. Debit/Credit Card/Net banking etc and post successful payment a printout of the application form has to be taken for future reference.
