The wait for those students who have given the AIIMS 2018 and are expecting the results for it will end soon. AIIMS- the conducting body for AIIMS 2018 will announce the results of the exam on June 18, 2018. It will be available on the official website aiimsexams.org at 06:00 PM. Apart from the AIIMS Delhi website, the students will be able to check the results on the official website of other AIIMS as well. They will also display the result on their website as soon as the results are declared.
AIIMS is one of the most coveted institutes for the medical studies. Every year lakhs of students appear for the exam. AIIMS 2018. Last year saw a total of 2,84,737 candidates appearing for the exam.
To check the results, the candidates will have to follow some steps. They will be able to see their results by given steps. Step one is that you have to click on the link to check the results or go to the official website of AIIMS. Step two is that a new window will open up. Here the candidate has to enter the required credentials. Step three is that you have to click on the submit button. The AIIMS 2018 Result will be in the front of the candidate. AIIMS 2018 result will be declared online only on the official website. Results of the AIIMS 2018 Exam will not be communicated by phone, SMS, or email. The results will be announced in the form of a rank list and the roll number wise list.
The AIIMS 2018 Result will be determined on the basis of the marks scored by the candidate in the competitive exam. In case the tie is there between the students, it will be resolved on the basis of the tie breaking criteria. First parameter is that the candidate with higher percentile in Biology will be given a higher ranking as compared to the other students. Second, in case two students have the same percentile in Biology, candidate with higher percentile in Chemistry will be given a higher ranking. Third, if the tie is there in both biology and chemistry, the candidate with higher percentile in Physics will be given a higher ranking. Fourth, preference to the candidate older in age will be given in the case, two candidates have the same percentile in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
After the results are announced, the AIIMS will call the qualified candidates for the counselling process. Only those candidates will be eligible for the counselling who have the minimum cutoff marks or more than that.
The students will be called for the counselling as per the rank in the merit list. The 807 medical seats will be allotted on the basis of the ranks obtained by the candidate in the merit list and other reservation criteria. The eligible candidates will have to visit the official website to know about the counselling schedule.
