All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi will declare the result for AIIMS PG Jan 2020 entrance exam for MD/ MS/ MCh (6yrs)/ DM (6yrs) on November 22, 2019. Candidates can check their result online at aiimsexams.org. The entrance exam has been conducted on November 17, 2019 in 68 cities all over India.
In order to qualify the entrance exam, candidates need to obtain minimum cut off percentile as set by AIIMS New Delhi. Candidates who obtain 50th percentile are declared as qualified. The percentile score is prepared based on the relative performance of the candidate who appeared in the entrance exam.
The result for AIIMS MD/ MS/ MCh (6yrs)/ DM (6yrs) Jan 2020 is released in the pdf format and consist of details of only those candidates who have passed the test. Overall and Category-wise merit Lists is prepared and published accordingly. In case if there are two or more candidates with equal percentile scores, then in such a case, candidates with higher aggregate marks in all the MBBS/BDS Professiona is ranked higher in the merit. If there is still a tie, then then age of the candidates (date of birth) will be considered, which means that the older candidate will be considered in the merit.

After the declaration of AIIMS PG result, the conducting body also provide a login facility for the candidates to check theri percentile scores. In order to check the percentile obtained in AIIMS PG 2020 entrance exam, candidates need to visit the official website of the exam. On the homepage of the website, click on the relevant link for checking the percentile score. Next, the candidates have to enter their candidate id and date of birth. Click on the “login” button to submit the details and then in the next screen, candidates can check their percentile.
Qualifiers in the entrance exam are then eligible to participate in the AIIMS PG 2020 counselling process. The counselling process includes Mock round of online Counselling/seat allocation which is expected to start by December 02, 2019. Those who will confirm seat will have to go to respective AIIMS and their verification, biometric verification will be done at the time of joining. There shall be 03 rounds of counselling and open counselling round for seats that remain vacant after roudn 3 of AIIMS PG counselling.
