All India Medical Institute of Science (AIIMS) has released AIIMS MBBS 2018 Admit Card. It was issued today, on May 10, 2018, at 05:45 pm. The Institute has only provided the admit card online, at aiimsexams.org. The candidates appearing for the exam on May 26 and 27, 2018, must download it and carry it as a hard copy.
The procedure to download the hall ticket is simple. Candidates just need to visit the official website and click on the tab for ‘Academic Courses’. In the next window, the candidates need to click on MBBS link and the login portal will be displayed. To access the login portal, the candidates will have to enter Candidates ID and Password. Next, the candidates will have to click on the ‘Login’ button and download the displayed admit card.
First and foremost step after downloading the admit card of AIIMS 2018 should be to check all the details in it. If any of the information is incorrect then the candidates will have to inform Assistant Controller (Examination). Incorrect details in the admit card can lead to cancellation of candidature.
It is also important to note that on the exam day, along with the admit card the candidates will also have to carry one original photo ID proof and one recent coloured passport size photographs. Only the original copy of ID will be accepted and the photograph should be clear with a light background.
Items that AIIMS 2018 candidates cannot carry on the exam day include; electronic gadgets, any item capable of transmitting or receiving information like Bluetooth devices, wrist watches, clock, ornaments, scarfs, jackets, etc. Candidates are not even allowed to carry calculator, bags, bottles, etc.
It is very important to reach the exam hall in time. Once the gate of exam centres closes, the entry shall not be allowed. To avoid any delay, the candidates should visit the exam centre prior to the exam and check the shortest route to reach on time.
Even after the examination, the candidates need to preserve the admit card. During counselling and final admission, it will be needed. AIIMS MBBS 2018 will be held online to fill 807 seats. AIIMS Delhi is offering 107 seats MBBS seats through the examination, whereas, AIIMS Bhopal, Patna, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Raipur, and Bhubaneswar are offering 100 seats each. AIIMS Guntur and Nagpur offer 50 seats each.
