AIAPGET 2019 Result

National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the AIAPGET 2019 result today, on July 29, 2019, two hours ago at http://www.ntaaiapget.nic.in. The result can be checked by entering roll number and date of birth. On basis of this result, admission will be done to post-graduate programs in AYUSH, MD/MS/PG Diploma in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy courses.

Mark sheet cum rank certificate of the exam are available for download. There is no provision for rechecking or revaluation, or re-totalling.

The All India Ayush Post Graduation Entrance Test was conducted on July 14, 2019, in computer based test mode.

Final answer key on the basis of which result has been compiled has also been published. Few questions have been cancelled and marked with “——–” in the new answer key. NTA says, “Correction option ID ——– means the question remains cancelled and marks awarded to all candidates appeared in the test”. This is mentioned in the final key.

Initially, process of exception handling by NTA was explained under section 13.2 of AIAPGET 2019 information brochure. As per it, if two or three options are found to be correct after answer key challenge or during key verification, then only those students get marks who marked either of the correct answer. However if all options are correct then full marks are given to all who have attempted the question. In the event that none of the options are correct or question itself is wrong, then all students get full marks.

Qualifying criteria for the exam is to obtain minimum 50th percentile. The criteria is relaxed to 40th percentile for candidates belonging to scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), other backward classes (OBC). Candidates with benchmark disabilities who belong to general category must get 45th percentile, and those in SC, ST, OBC category should get 40th percentile.

AIAPGET consisted of 100 multiple choice questions, to be attempted in 90 minutes. Candidates have been awarded 4 (four) marks for correct answer, and negative marking of 1 (one) mark has been applied for incorrect answers.

With the results out, counselling for admission will happen next. AYUSH Admission Central Counselling Committee (AACCC), formed by the Ministry of AYUSH will organize counselling for all India central seats. Whereas state quota seats will be filled by the respective bodies of state / UT, universities, deemed universities, AYUSH colleges, institutes as the case may be.

Seat allotment is determined by the rank / merit of candidate along with choices exercised. In addition eligibility criteria, domicile criteria, reservation, and other institute or state specific rules shall apply.

All AYUSH colleges, institutions, and universities or deemed universities in India can offer admission to their all India (open or other states) as well as state quota seats of MD / MS / PG Diploma Courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy system of medicine through AIAPGET only; this is the only allowed AYUSH entrance exam in India.
