AFCAT 2 2021 Exam Analysis 29 Aug; Paper Was Moderate; Good Attempts

Based on post-exam student'e reaction, in today's AFCAT 2 2021 exam (29 Aug 2021), the question paper of shift 2 was slightly easier than that of the shift 1. Overall, the paper was moderate in both shifts.

Indian Air Force conducted the second day of the AFCAT 2 2021 exam today on August 29, 2021. The exam was conducted in two shifts from 09.45 AM to 11.45 AM in the morning and from 02.45 PM to 04.45 PM in the afternoon. Both shifts of today’s AFCAT 2 2021 exam are over now and based on post-exam reaction and reviews, while the shift 1 exam was of the moderate difficulty level, the shift 2 exam was slightly easier.

Difficulty level

As per the candidate’s reaction after the exam was over, the question paper of today’s AFCAT 2 2021 shift 1 exam was of a moderate difficulty level overall. In particular, the sections on General Awareness and Reasoning & Military Aptitude were reported of the easy to the moderate difficulty level in the shift 1 exam. However, the Numerical Ability section was of a moderate difficulty level. Compared to the first day’s exam, the English language section in shift 1 was slightly tougher and was of a moderate difficulty level.

In shift 2 of today’s AFCAT 2 2021 exam, the question paper was also of a moderate difficulty level overall. Sections on General Awareness and Reasoning & Military Aptitude were of the easy difficulty level. Furthermore, the sections on Numerical Ability and English language were of the easy to the moderate difficulty level. Overall, the shift 2 question paper was slightly easier than the shift 1 question paper of today’s AFCAT 2 2021 exam.

Important Topics

In the first shift exam, questions from Fill in the blanks and Antonyms/Synonyms, Reading Comprehension and Cloze Test based questions were prevalent in the English section. In both shifts, the maximum number of questions were asked from these topics. Besides, other important topics in English included Idioms & Phrases and Error Detection.

In Numerical Ability, Time & Distance, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simplification and Simple & Compound Interest were the most important topics across shift 1 and shift 2. In Reasoning, Analogy, Venn Diagram, Non-Verbal Image, etc. were the most important topics in today’s exam.

History, Geography, Current Affairs, Polity, Economics Science formed the main themes from where the questions were asked.

Good Attempts

Based on the level of difficulty and post-exam student’s reaction, it can be envisaged that in the first shift, the overall number of good attempts can be in the range of 60 to 70 out of 100 questions. On the other hand, with the shift 2 question paper a little bit easier than the first shift, it is envisaged that the number of good attempts can be in the range of 65 to 75 out of 100.
