Airports Authority of India (AAI) is inviting applications for the recruitment of executives through GATE – 2019. The posts that are advertised are of Junior Executive (Engineering Civil), Junior Executive (Engineering Electrical) and Junior Executive (Electronics). AAI has announced a total of 180 vacancies for this recruitment. Applications from bachelor degree holders are invited. Eligible candidates can submit their application form from August 03, 2020, onwards. They can submit their forms on or before the last date, September 02, 2020. Out of the total announced vacancies, 15 vacancies are announced for Junior Executive (Engineering -Civil), 15 for Junior Executive (Engineering – Electrical) and 150 for Junior Executive (Electronics). The candidates are appointed for these post in the pay scale of Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 1,40,000/- (E-1).
To apply for the Junior Executive (Engineering Civil) candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology in Civil with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology in Electrical with a minimum of 60% marks are eligible for the post of Junior Executive (Engineering – Electrical). Those who have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology in Electronics/ Telecommunications/ Electrical with a minimum of 60% marks are can apply for Junior Executive (Electronics). They must have specialization in Electronics from a recognized university or apex institution i.e IIT recognised university. Candidate’s age must not exceed that of 27 years on the closing date of online applications.
In addition to the Engineering/ Technology degree, candidates must also possess GATE-2019 marks. They must have appeared for the GATE examination and have acquired good rank in the examination. Candidates applying for Junior Executive (Engineering Civil) must have appeared for GAE paper code CE. Similarly, those who are applying for Junior Executive (Engineering – Electrical) must have appeared for GATE paper code EE. Candidates applying for Junior Executive (Electronics) must have appeared for GATE paper code EC.
The application procedure is conducted online at aai.aero. Candidates have to visit the official website > click on the profession tab > The application link. Before applying applicants must have a valid personal email ID and mobile number which remains active for the complete recruitment process. Candidates should keep educational qualification certificate, personal details, caste certificate, category certificate, scanned photograph and signature, and other documents before filling the application form. They also have to make payment of Rs. 300/- as the application fee through the online mode. However, the SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates are exempted from the application fee payment.
