Xavier Labour Relation Institute (XLRI) has released the XAT 2019 Response sheet on January 12, 2019. Candidates can now check the recorded answers, official answer key, and question paper at xatonline.ac.in. The response sheet can be accessed at students’ login using registration number and password.
The notification for the response sheet has been available at the website just above the login tab. There are some students who could not access the answer key at their login. So, after the contacting the exam officials, it came to notice that the response sheet has not been uploaded for some candidates. Thus, test takers must wait for some time and check the login after every 15-20 minutes.
The response sheet for XAT 2019 consists of the answers marked by a student and the right response to a question. With this, candidates can check their raw scores using the marking scheme of XAT 2019. There are 74 questions that will be evaluated while calculating the final percentile. For each correct and incorrect answer, there is 1 and 0.25 mark respectively. For un-attempted question more than 8, there is a negative marking of 0.10 marks.
While checking the answer key, there are chances that candidates may find discrepancies in the official key. So, in case there are any doubts, students can challenge the answer key until January 14, 2019 (03:00 PM). The objection has been open for only 2 days and importantly there is no objection fee to raise the challenge(s).
The objection(s) must be sent at [email protected]. The email should consist of XAT Id, name, question id, objection & its correct response, and evidence of objection. The subject line for a mail should be <XAT Id> Objection <Question Id>. Candidates must raise valid doubts after cross-verifying with other XAT test- takers.
Once XLRI receives all the challenges, then the proper scrutinization of the objections will take place. In case, objections are valid, then the same will be reflected in the key and the updated responses will be considered for the evaluation of the final result.
The result for XAT 2019 is expected to release in the fourth week of January 2019. Candidates will able to check the result at the login in the PDF format. Candidates clearing the cut-off will be called for XLRI interview. Apart from this college, other 150+ B-schools accept XAT scores. Aspirants must attend the next rounds accordingly to take the final admission. The session for the academic year 2019-21 is expected to start from July this year.
