The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) announced the exam date and the rest of the schedule for WBJEE 2019 on December 12, 2018. However, now it has been announced at the Board’s official website that the exam date for WBJEE 2019 will be reconsidered as it is clashing with JEE Advanced 2019. Hence, the board will now announce the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) 2019 new examination date.
As of now, the Board has only notified that the exam date for WBJEE 2019 will be revised. The registration for WBJEE will begin from December 26, 2018, at wbjeeb.in. The aspirants need to register for the entrance exam by online mode only. No offline Application Form will be available for the candidates. The last date to submit the WBJEE Application Form 2019 is January 22, 2019.
The Board has also published the information brochure for WBJEE 2019. The candidates who wish to appear for the entrance examination must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the test. The Board has mentioned in the Brochure that it will not verify the eligibility criteria of the candidate at the time of submitting the WBJEE 2019 Application Form or at the time of issuance of the Admit Card. However, it will be verified at the time of the counseling, hence, it is important that you should verify the Eligibility criteria and then only proceed to apply for the exam.
Once the candidates successfully register for the entrance exam, they can then proceed to fill in details in the WBJEE 2019 Application Form. In the Online Form, the aspirants will have to provide their educational qualification details, personal information, choose a relevant exam center, etc. Also, the aspirants need to upload the scanned image of their passport size photograph and signature.
The last step of the WBJEEE 2019 Application process is to pay the required amount of the Application Fee and submit the form online. The aspirants will have to pay an amount of Rs. 500 plus the Bank charges to submit the WBJEE Online Application. The application fee for WBJEE 2019 Online Form is payable by Online mode using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations or as it is shortly known as, WBJEE, is a state level entrance examination which is held every year by the Board. The Board conducts the Common Entrance Examination for admission to Undergraduate Courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture in Universities, Govt. Colleges and Self-Financed Institutes in the State of West Bengal.
