Vellore Institute Of Technology also known as VIT University is starting the slot booking process of VITEEE 2019 from March 28, 2019. Keeping the general elections in mind, the university has also announced the VITEEE Dates city wise.
The exam is being held in 220 cities in India and 4 cities in abroad. The dates in which the exam is to be held in each of these cities have been declared. These dares have been allotted in each city keeping in mind the general election dates.
VIT Online Test Booking System (OTBS) will allow candidates to book their test date and time slot for VITEEE 2019. The exam will be held on different dates in different cities. The list of exam dates city wise has been mentioned over vit.ac.in. Using the slot booking the candidates can book their exam date and time to appear in the exam.
The exam is to be held between April 10 – 21, 2019. There are three slots every day and each slot will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The slots for VITEEE 2019 are Slot 1: 9:00 am- 11:30 am, Slot 2 from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm and the last slot from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Candidates have to select anyone date and slot to appear in the exam.
Furthermore, the registration date for the exam was extended till March 21, 2019. Only registered candidates who have paid the registration fee can book their slots that will be as per first come first serve basis.
How To Do The VITEEE 2019 Slot Booking
In order to book a slot, the university will send an SMS on or before March 28, 2019. The SMS will have the Slot Booking (Hall Ticket Booking) password using which the candidates have to log in at the OTBS and book their slots for the exam.
Next, candidates will have to enter certain details in order to be able to book a slot. These details include Test name, the place a candidate belongs to, choose the city for the exam, subject choosen for VITEEE 2019, Test date preference, Test center name and address.
Candidate will now be able to see the available slots on a particular date in the particular center. To confirm the VITEEE 2019 slot click on “BOOK”. Next, click on OK to further confirm your slot. Now the important point here is candidates must complete the slot booking process within a few minutes else it will automatically logout and the same process will have to be repeated again.
Note that the candidates will get their VITEEE 2019 Hall Ticket/Admit card right after the slot booking process is completed.
About Online Test Booking System
The OTBS is an online test booking portal of VIT University. It has been created for candidates to be able to book the slot for VITEEE 2019 easily. The OTBS will be available only for a given period of time and will work on a first come first serve basis. The service will be available at vit.ac.in.
The VIT Engineering Entrance Test popularly known as VITEEE is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology. It is a national level test conducted for admission to the four campuses of VIT that are Vellore, Chennai, Amravati and Bhopal.
