Recently, VIT University has confirmed that it will be issuing online or offline application forms for VITEEE 2019 from November 1, 2018, onwards over their official website. VIT Engineering Entrance Exam 2019 is conducted every year for admissions to various engineering courses offered across VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Andhra Pradesh campuses. Candidates can find the official notice released by the VIT University under the VITEEE 2019 heading in the bulletin board section.
In this notice released, a candidate can find the tentative dates also being released by the University. The application process and generating login credentials over the application portal, as earlier said will commence from November 1 onwards, the online correction window for VITEEE 2019 application form will be made available up to the month of February 2019. The VITEEE 2019 Slot booking, tentatively will start in the month of March 2019. This university-level entrance exam is said to be held in the month of April, whereas the result will be declared by the end of April.
In this notice, some guidelines to fill out the application forms has been suggested by the University. Candidates are advised to be ready with the list of documents that will be needed or needs to be referred to at the time of form filling. The application form fee of Rs. 1150 needs to be paid for online forms, whereas Rs. 1200 needs to be paid for offline forms via any of the following modes – Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking, Demand Draft or Cash, prior to the last date.

Also, after the release of this notice, candidates now know that after they have filled up their application forms, they will need to book their exam slots over the official portal. VITEEE 2019 will be held in 3-time slots and a candidate will be allotted a chosen time slot as per the availability and on first cum first basis. The confirmed time slots options made available to a candidate, to choose from are – 09.00 am to 11.30 am 12.30 pm to 03.00 pm and 04.00 pm to 06.30 pm.
Important Guidelines To Fill VITEEE 2019 Application Form
The measurement and size have been specified for the photograph that needs to be uploaded, along with that of a candidate’s signature. University has clearly mentioned that it will not be accepting selfie photos and Aadhar cards will be required to be submitted at the time of counseling. Note that, the VIT University will be communicating the exam related notifications and the admit cards as well via SMS or registered email ids. 
VITEEE 2019 will be a computer-based test for which candidate needs to apply in only English language. Questions will be asked from the three sections i.e Physics, Chemistry, English Mathematics or Biology as per the course opted by a candidate. Candidates appearing for PCME will need to attempt 120 questions in all, including 40 questions each from every section.
VIT will be using percentile ranks as their equating methodology.
As there is some time left in hands for the application procedure of VITEEE 2019 to kick start, the university has advised every interested applicant to go through the eligibility norms as laid by them. Any candidate found ineligible and still applying, the candidature of that candidate will be canceled.
