Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Unversity has confirmed that it will announce VITEEE 2019 Result on April 29, 2019. The University has also announced the time for the release of result and it is 5:00 pm. Around 1.62 lakh candidates have been waiting for VIT Result since the examination was held between April 10 to 21, 2019.
The result of VITEEE 2019 will be announced online, on the official website vit.ac.in. In order to check the result, the candidates will have to click on “VITEEE Result” tab. It will lead to the result login. To access it, the candidates will have to enter application number and date of birth and then click on the “Submit” button. After this, the result of VITEEE will appear in the dashboard.
VITEEE result displays the rank of the candidates in the exam. The rank is announced at All India Level and with it, the name, application number, gender, and date of birth of the candidates is also mentioned. VITEEE rank is determined on the basis of equipercentile equating method.
On the basis of VITEEE rank, the candidates are called for the counselling round. The counselling of VITEEE will begin from May 09, 2019. It will be held in two phases, which are expected to conclude by the 3rd week of May 2019.
For counselling, the candidates will be called be as per their rank. VIT University usually calls upto 99999 rank holders for admission. The rank 1 to 2000 is called for the 1st phase of the counselling, whereas, 2001 – 99999 rank holders are called in the 2nd phase of the counselling round. Usually, all the seats in VIT are filled by the mind of counselling phase 2.
The counselling is held offline. The candidates have to report in person and submit documents such as VITEEE Result copy, admit card, counselling admit card, class X board certificate, mark sheet of the qualifying examination. During the counselling, the candidates are asked about their choice for the course and college and if the seats are available and the rank of the candidate is appropriate, the seat is allocated.
The fee for confirming the seat is Rs. 55000. The amount also includes counselling fee. The candidates have to pay the fee amount through Demand Draft. The DD is to be prepared in the name of “Vellore Institute of Technology”, payable at Vellore.
VITEEE 2019 is a university level examination, which was held in 163 centres. The exam is only held for B.Tech admission in VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Amravati. All the best to all the candidates who are waiting for their VITEEE 2019 result.
