VIT Application Form 2022 Released; Check Exam Date, Entrance Exam Details

Applicants have to first complete the registration process by providing their name, residential status, date of birth, gender, mobile number and email ID. The application deadline has not been mentioned yet. VITEEE 2022 will be held for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has released the application forms for the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2022. Candidates who are interested in the B.Tech entrance test can now submit their applications via viteee.vit.ac.in. The application process takes place in multiple stages starting with candidate registration.

Candidates qualifying for the test will be eligible for admission to the four VIT campuses namely Vellore, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh and Bhopal. However, the courses offered by the different campuses may vary and the candidates must check the same from the official website.

Eligibility

The applicant can be a resident, non-resident Indian or PIO. However, foreign candidates can also apply using a separate form provided on the official website. In terms of age limit, candidates should be born on or after July 01, 2000. They should either have completed or be appearing for 10+2 or equivalent exams in 2022. In addition to that, they must have secured a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology in the qualifying examination.

Exam Date

The application process is presently underway. The last date for filling the VIT application form 2022 has not been announced yet. Similarly, the dates for VITEEE 2022 is yet to be announced. In that case, it is advised to keep an eye on the official website viteee.vit.ac.in to know these dates.

Examination Details

The selection process will be based on the rank scored by the candidate in the computer-based test (CBT). The examination pattern is divided into two categories. Firstly, there is MPCEA which has a combination of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude. Likewise, for BPCEA, the subject combination involves Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude. VITEEE 2022 will be held for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
