The Union Public Service Commission has published an important notice regarding the 2020 Engineering Services (Main) exam and Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) exam. UPSC has officially announced that applicants of the Engineering Services 2020 exam and Combined Geo-Scientist 2020 exam will be able to submit their revised choice of centres for the Main stage exams. The submission process will be conducted on the website of the Commission upsconline.nic.in from September 08 to 13, 2020. Concerned applicants can check all the details regarding the notice from the official UPSC website upsc.gov.in. However, this choice of the centre is optional and those who do not wish to change their centres are not required to submit any revised choice of centre.
Union Public Service Commission will allow applicants of the Engineering Service 2020 (Main) exam and Combined Geo-Scientist 2020 (Main) exam to submit the revised choice of exam centre as per the schedule specified above. Candidates who submitted applicants for the respective exams have reportedly sent requests to the Commission for a chance to make changes to the centres chosen by them at the time of online application. Difficulties in accessing previously chosen centres due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and associated restrictions is seemingly the reason behind such requests. As a result, the Commission is going to allow candidates to make changes to the chosen exam centre as per schedule.
Those who are interested in making changes to the exam centre are advised to visit the Commission’s website and submit their revised choice of centre for the corresponding examination before the last day. However, one must note that all the other terms and conditions of the exam are to remain valid as per the corresponding official notification published for each exam.
Union Public Service Commission is going to conduct the Engineering Service (Main) 2020 examination on October 18, 2020 (Sunday). Similarly, the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on October 17 and October 18, 2020. The Commission is conducting the exams all over India and candidates who qualified the Preliminary stage exams of both these recruitments held earlier are eligible to take the tests for the Main exam. These dates are revised dates announced by the Commission on the official website as per the Revised Programme of Examinations/RTs published on the official website recently.
