Today, November 16, 2021, is the last date to register for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2022. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, the conducting body of UCEED 2022, will not be accepting any more applications after today. Hence, those interested in applying for the entrance exam have less than 24 hours to complete the registration formalities on uceed.iitb.ac.in. Moreover, they will have to bear late fee charges in addition to the registration fee. As per official sources, the UCEED 2022 exam is all set to be conducted on January 23, 2022. IIT Bombay began the UCEED 2022 registration on September 09, 2021. Initially, students were given time up to October 10, 2021, to fill and submit their online applications on uceed.iitb.ac.in. However, with the hopes of encouraging more students to apply for the entrance exam, the institute decided on extending the registration deadline. Subsequently, candidates were given time up to November 11, 2021, to apply online, without bearing any late fee charges.
Interested and eligible candidates could still apply after November 11, 2021, by paying additional charges along with the application fee. Thereafter, registration with late fee charges ends today. Candidates must note that beyond today, the institute will not be accepting any more applications. Hence, they are advised to use these last few hours in completing their form, uploading the required documents, and paying the increased application fee.
IIT Bombay will not be providing any rectification or correction facility for making changes in the already-submitted UCEED 2022 application. Instead, it will direct release the admit cards on January 08, 2022, on the official portal. Candidates are advised to download their admit cards, go through each detail mentioned, carefully to check for any errors or discrepancies. In case of any errors, the last date to rectify them is January 14, 2022, up to 5:00 pm. Candidates are instructed to adhere to these deadlines so that errors in their admit cards can be resolved as soon as possible.
The UCEED 2022 examination is all set to be conducted on January 23, 2022, through the online and offline modes, depending on the paper. IIT Bombay has also released the schedule of events post-exam conduction. Accordingly, the provisional answer key will be released on January 25, 2022. Candidates will have time up to January 27, 2022, at 5:00 pm to communicate their comments against the answer key.
Based on the comments received, the provisional answer key will be rectified and a final draft will be released on January 31, 2022. Candidates will be evaluated based on the final answer key and the UCEED 2022 results will subsequently, be announced on March 10, 2022.
