TS ICET result 2021

Kakatiya University is going to release the TS ICET result 2021 tomorrow i.e. September 17, 2021. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance test on August 19 and 20, 2021 can check the same on the official website, icet.tsche.ac.in.

The test-takers need to login on to the result page with the ICET hall ticket number, registration number, and date of birth to check their respective results. The result and rank card for all the candidates is going to be released on the same day. The candidates who successfully qualify for the exam stand a chance to get admission in MBA/MCA courses.

The authorities have prescribed minimum qualifying marks of 25% of total marks, that the unreserved candidates need to score if they wish to appear for the counselling round. This implies that they need to score at least 50 marks to pass the TS ICET 2021 examination.

TS ICET 2021 rank list is prepared by applying normalization to the marks scored in the examination. This is being done because the examination has been conducted in multiple shifts. The authorities will first take the raw score of the candidates and then apply the normalization formula. Then, they will arrive at the final marks scored by the candidates in the TS ICET exam.

Post this, a merit list is prepared in the descending order of these marks. The candidate placed higher in the TS ICET merit list are called to appear in the counselling rounds. It is expected that the counselling schedule and the registration link for the same are going to be announced soon.

TSCHE has also announced tie-breaking criteria for the candidates who score equal marks in the examination. To do so, the authorities give first preference to the marks scored in section A. If the tie is not resolved, then marks of section B are been considered by the authorities. If the tie in the TS ICET marks still persists, then seniority is been considered to choose the deserving candidate.

The candidates need to first register themselves for the counselling round, book a slot and pay the registration fees. Then, on successful completion of the document verification and other formalities, the candidates will be assigned colleges and courses. This allotment will be done on the basis of the candidate’s rank in the exam, course opted for, seat availability in the preferred MB/MCA college.

TS ICET (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test) is a state-based entrance test conducted for providing admission to higher-level courses i.e. MBA/MCA. The exam is been conducted by Kakatiya University on behalf of the Telangana State council of higher education annually.
