The last date of filling the online application form for Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EDCET) 2021 is August 7, 2021, i.e. today. The aspiring candidates can apply online without a late fee. A notification in this regard is made available on the official website edcet.tsche.ac.in.
In order to be eligible for the TS EDCET 2021, the candidates will have to be Indian citizens. Also, as on July 1, 2021 the candidate will have to be a minimum of nineteen years of age.
Apart from the above criteria, the candidate must be passed out or appearing for a degree-level examination. For a general stream candidate, one has to be a bachelor/master’s degree holder with a minimum of 50 percent marks. If the candidate has a B.E/B.Tech background with Maths and Science, the qualifying percentage is 55. For the reserved candidates, the accepted qualifying marks are 40 percent.
In order to take the advantage of the extended last date of making an online application for TS EDCET 2021, the following steps will have to be taken by the candidate:
- Visit official website edcet.tsche.ac.in.
- A subheading by the name Application will be visible on the Home Page.
- Below that, live links will be available for submitting online applications.
- Process begins with paying for the application fees.
- In order to make the payment, the candidate needs to fill up the form with the details as per direction.
- Application fees for general candidates are Rs. 650/- and Rs. 450/- for SC/ST/PH candidates
- Payment gateways like internet banking, Credit/Debit cards or UPI are accepted for application fees.
- After the payment has been made, candidates are advised to check their payment status.
- There is a dedicated page for the same, the candidate needs to enter the Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number and Mobile Number to confirm payment status.
- After the payment is made successfully, the candidate may start filling up the application form.
- The payment reference number, qualifying exam hall ticket number, mobile number, email ID, income of parents and date of birth of the candidate needs to be filled up
- Photographs and signatures in jpg/jpeg format need to be uploaded. The size of the photo has to be less than 50 kb and less than 30 kb for signature.
- After the form is filled up, the candidate needs to click on the submit button.
- The application form needs to be downloaded and a copy retained for future reference.
Osmania University, Hyderabad conducts the TS EDCET 2021 examination to offer admissions for 2-year B.Ed courses in different colleges in Telangana. The TS EDCET 2021 exam is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The dates for the TS EDCET 2021 exams are August 24, 2021 and August 25, 2021.
The timings for TS EDCET 2021 exams have been given in 2 slots. They are 10 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 5 pm. The pattern of questions are in the form of MCQ. The candidates are required to finish 150 questions in two hours.
The hall tickets for the TS EDCET 2021 exam are going to be available on August 10, 2021 on the official website. As per sources, the results of TS EDCET 2021 are scheduled to come out on September 12, 2021. The dates for counseling are yet to be decided.
