Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University (TNTEU) today announced the B.Sc B.Ed result for March 2019 exams. However the link for result provided at tnteu.ac.in is leading to tnteuresult.in which is not showing the result. It seems that the domain of TNTEU results website has expired.
On the official website tnteu.ac.in, there is a section for notifications. Right there, you can see a text in green that says “B.Sc B.Ed Result for March 2019”, and even has a “new” sign flashing besides it. Clicking it opens a website where all TNTEU results are usually hosted, that is tnteuresult.in. That page says “this domain name expired on 2019-09-08 10:23:18” and is showing random ad links on the page.
As a result, students are unable to check their results in this mode as of now. The issue being technical, is expected to be resolved by the university in a short while. Once resolved, students will be able to login with their roll numbers to check their results. B.Sc.B.Ed. degree examination were conducted from March 13 to March 27 for semester I, semester II. Dates for semester III exams were March 14 to March 28.
Meanwhile, students of B.Ed are also expecting their results now. There is no official notification about when the result will be declared. Last year, TNTEU announced B.Ed result in on September 9. Therefore students had been expecting the B.Ed May-June 2019 result in first week of September only. However now the month is coming to an end, and the results are still awaited.
In the year 2017, the B.Ed May-June exam results were announced on August 20. By that measure, the results are very late this time.
This year TNTEU conducted the B.Ed two year exam for year I from May 30 to June 12. Year II exams were conducted from May 29 to June 8. Year I exams for arrear candidates was held from May 30 to June 13, and that for year II arrear candidates was from May 29 to June 6.
B.Ed special education exam for year I took place from May 30 to June 12. That for year II B.Ed SE was from May 29 to June 8. B.Ed SE arrear candidates in year I appeared for exams from May 30 to June 13. And arrear candidates year II took the tests from May 29 to June 6.
The B.Ed programme at TNTEU has 19 subject codes. They are Tamil / Urdu, English, Mathematics, Physical Science (Physics), Physical Science (Chemistry), Biological Science (Botany), Biological Science (Zoology), History, Geography, Computer Science, Home Science, Economics, Commerce, Political Science, Sociology, Logic, Indian Culture, Philosophy. B.Ed admission to 2019 session kicked off in August.
Earlier this year, the university had come across 227 affiliated colleges that had not paid their affiliation fees. The registrar in-charge of TNTEU had sent notice to the defaulters in January. It was reported that one college from Vellore had dues of over Rs 1 crore. Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University has more than 700 affiliated colleges.
