Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) is all set to release the TIFR GS 20222 admit cards today, November 25, 2021. They will be released through the online mode on the official website tifr.res.in. The TIFR Graduate School Admissions (GS) 2022 examination is going to be held on a nationwide level on Sunday, December 12, 2021. With around 17 days left for the exam, candidates have ample time to download and print a copy of their admit cards well in-time before the exam.
Previously, the TIFR GS 2022 admit cards were scheduled to release on November 22, 2021. However, due to reasons unknown and not specified, the released date was postponed by three days to November 25, 2021.
The TIFR GS 2022 examination is going to be conducted on December 12, 2021, in two sessions – 1. Morning session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2. Afternoon session starting from 2:30 pm. Subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Computer & Systems Sciences and Biology (Wildlife & Conservation) will be held in the morning slot. Similarly, Biology and Mathematics will be held in the afternoon slot.
To appear for the TIFR GS 2022 exam, admit cards are a must. All candidates need to carry their hall tickets to the exam and produce them at the entry gate to be allowed inside. If they fail to do so, they may not be allowed inside and their months’ worth of preparation will go to waste. Hence, a legible copy of the hall ticket must be present with every candidate.
TIFR will be conducting the GS 2022 exam for admissions to postgraduate programs in the field of Science. Those who qualify the online test in December 2021 will be asked to appear for the interview round or a second exam. The second stage will be decided purely based on the program that candidate has opted for. However, that’s a worry for the later stage and the more pressing point is qualifying the first round.
Following are the tentative steps to download the admit card –
Step 1: Visit the official website of TIFR GS 2022 exam i.e., tifr.res.in.
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, Click on the “Student Login” option. By doing so, two options will appear on the screen – “For New Registration” and “Already Registered”.
Step 3: Select the “Click Here” option underneath the “Already Registered” section.
Step 4: Enter the login credentials such as User ID and Password.
Step 5: Submit the login credentials by clicking on the “Login” option.
Step 6: After successfully logging-in, check for the admit card download option and click on it.
Step 7: The admit card will appear on the screen. Take printout of the document as soon as possible before the exam.
