Anna University, Chennai, has successfully organised the TANCET 2022 exam today, May 14, 2022.Exam was organised in the OMR-based offline mode, for a duration of 2 hours i.e., from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. While the entrance test for MCA programme was organised in the morning, MBA entrance test was held in the afternoon. TANCET 2022 for ME, M.Tech., M.Plan and M.Arch. courses shall be organisd tomorrow, May 15, 2022, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Candidates who qualify today’s Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2022 shall be given the opportunity to apply for MCA or MBA courses at reputed institutes across the state. As of now, the university has not disclosed any information about answer key and result announcement.

Tentative TANCET 2022 Answer Key Release date
Immediately after the successful conduction of TANCET 2022 paper (for MBA and MCA), students are ardently waiting for the official answer key. As per most reports, the official answer key is likely to come out within the next 03 days (i.e., by May 17, 2022) or within the first-half of next week i.e., by May 19, 2022.
TANCET 2022 official answer key shall most likely be released in the form of a PDF file, on the official website tancet.annauniv.edu. Being entirely objective in nature, the paper only contained MCQs. The right option for each question shall be specified in the official key.
Predicting TANCET 2022 Result Date
Till now, Anna University has not provided any clarity on the TANCET 2022 result date. However, it is easy to predict a tentative date based on past-yer trends.
For example, in 2021, the TANCET entrance exam was held across the state of Tamil Nadu, on March 20 and 21, 2022. Thereafter, results were announced on the official portal, on April 01, 2021. Thus, There is a difference of 11 days between both exam events. Considering this timeline of events, result for 2022 exam is likely to come out by May 25, 2022.
In 2020, the TANCET exam for MBA and MCA courses was scheduled on February 29. Results were announced immediately thereafter, on March 12, 2020, maintaining a gap of 13 days. Considering this gap between consecutive events, result for 2021 session may come out between May 25 and 27, 2022.
The year before i.e., 2019, the TANCET exam was held on two days – June 22 and 23. Results were subsequently, announced on July 05, 2019, after maintaining a gap of 12 days. By this logic, results are likely to come out on the same date as predicted above.
In simple terms, the TANCET 2022 results are likely to come out by May 25-27, 2022, on the official website tancet.annauniv.edu.
