Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has released the admit cards today, June 22, 2021, for the Symbiosis International Engineering Entrance Examination (SITEEE) 2021. The admit cards have been released on the official website set-test.org. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam are advised to download their admit cards as soon as possible before the entrance test which is scheduled on Monday, June 28, 2021, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm. They are also advised to take a printout of the admit card and keep it safely until the admission process gets over.
To download the SITEEE 2021 admit card, candidates must visit the official website set-test.org and then click on the top red button which states “SITEEE Admit Card”. After clicking on the link, candidates will be redirected to a new page containing the “SET 2021 – Admit Card Login” window. In this window, candidates have to enter their SET ID and password before clicking on the “Login” button. In the next step, the candidate’s admit card shall be displayed on the screen. Aspirants are advised to either download or take a printout of their admit cards for future use.
SITEEE 2021 shall be conducted through the online, remote proctored format next week. Candidates are instructed to appear for the exam in a safe and peaceful environment on their preferred device. This device can be desktop or a laptop with a functional webcam. They must also avail an uninterrupted internet connection of 5 mbps. During the exam, candidates shall be invigilated using Artificial Intelligence (AI) as well as Human Proctoring. Resorting to any malpractice or cheating shall lead to direct disqualification of the candidature.
There are also certain basic instructions cited by Symbiosis Institute which are to be followed by all candidates during SITEEE 2021 examination. Accordingly, candidates have to sit in front of their device, facing their screen and their webcam throughout the examination. A mobile phone with the number given at the time of registration must kept next to the candidate. Any form of communication if required, shall be done using this device. Other than this, no other device shall be permitted.
Some of the prohibited devices during the examination include calculator, electronic tablets, etc. A plain sheet of paper along with a pencil is permitted for rough work during the exam. Another important instruction to be followed by candidates is that they must not speak or talk during the test. In case the candidate disturbs his/her camera position during the exam, the test will get auto-submitted. Candidates will not be able to access or appear for the test again.
SITEEE is conducted every year by the Symbiosis International (Deemed university) for admission to various B.Tech. programmes offered by the institute. Candidates who qualify this exam shall be granted admission to Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) for the respective B.Tech. programmes based on their performance in SITEEE.
