Staff Selection Commission has postponed the release of the SSC GD Constable 2021 Notification. Now, the official notification for SSC Constable (GD) will be out in the first week of May 2021 which was earlier scheduled to release on March 25, 2021. Candidates intending to apply for CAPFs, NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles from the first week of May 2021. Those who have passed 10th class can submit their SSC GD Constable application form 2021 online via ssc.nic.in.

Earlier, SSC announced that the notification for SSC GD Constable recruitment will release on March 25, 2021. The application procedure for CAPFs, NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles was also expected to commence from March 25, 2021 onwards. However, due to some unmentioned reasons, the release of SSC GD Constable notification was postponed. Now, the new notification for 2021 year will be out in the first week of May 2021.
The online application form for SSC GD Constable 2021 will also be available from the first week of May 2021. Aspirants interested in the CAPFs, NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) can submit their applications online through ssc.nic.in. They have to register themselves first using the email id and phone number. On successful registration, candidates will receive an auto-generated log in id and password. Use these credentials to log in and submit the application form.
While applying, aspirants also have to pay the requisite SSC GD Constable application fee. They have to pay Rs. 100/- as the application fee. However, SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Women candidates are exempted from the application fee submission process. The fee can be paid via online or offline mode. Aspirants can opt for credit/debit/VISA/master/maestro/net banking/challan as per their preference to pay the fees.
Moreover, before aspirants proceed to apply for SSC GD Constable, they must verify the minimum eligibility criteria as defined by SSC. They must have passed 10th class from a recognized university or board to be eligible for SSC GD Constable 2021. Candidates also have to meet the minimum age limit of 18 years. Their age should not exceed the upper age limit of 23 years while applying for the post.
The selection for SSC GD Constable is based on three stages – Computer Based Test, Physical Test and Interview. SSC has already announced the SSC GD Constable 2021 Exam dates for the CBT exam. The online exam will take place from August 02 to 25, 2021. Dates for other rounds of the selection procedure will be released subsequently.
