Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC) has recently released a recruitment advertisement for General Duty Medical Officer in Junior grade. Applicants interested in the recruitment can submit their applications online for the 40 vacant posts of GDMO. Applicants can apply before the last date that is January 05, 2021. The post of General Duty Medical Officer is announced on a temporary basis. Candidates who are shortlisted for the GDMO posts are posted in Sikkim State Health Service under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim. They will be paid monthly salary as per the Level 15 of the Pay Matrix.
SPSC GDMO Recruitment 2020 Notification
To apply for the SPSC recruitment, candidates have to make sure that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. They should have a Bachelors degree of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from a recognized university. With that, they should also have completed a rotatory internship of one year. In addition, candidates must have registered themselves with the Medical Council of India or the Medical Council of any state. They should know any of the state language and conversant with the customs and usages of Sikkim.
Moreover, applicants should have completed the minimum age limit of 21 years. Their age should not exceed the age limit of 50 years as on November 31, 2020.
Eligible candidates can apply for GDMO posts through spscskm.gov.in. They first have to register themselves and then proceed to submit the application form. Moreover, candidates are also required to pay the application fee as specified. They have to pay fee amounting to Rs. 150/- through online gateways such as credit/debit card, Net Banking by Visa/Mastercard.
After the online application form submission process is over, SPSC releases a list of the rejected candidates. Aspirants can check the same on the official website by January 11, 2021. In case, any candidates have any grievances/ objection they can submit the same from January 12, 2021 to January 18, 2021.
Applicants who are eligible as per the details available in the application form are called for the interview. As of now, SPSC has not disclosed the interview dates.
