Second Shift Of JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 Ends; Both Shifts Moderate, Drawing Section Lengthy

The JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 exam for both the shifts are now over. And as per the initial reaction of the candidates, the paper after both the shifts were found to be moderate. In both the shifts the mathematics section was the most difficult one and the drawing section was very lengthy.

25% of the questions were asked form class 12 and 75% of the questions were from class 11. In maths questions from 3D, integration, matrices, differential calculus and geometry were asked. a few of the questions were tricky in mathematics. However, candidates said that the Architectural Aptitude section was the easiest. There were questions from general knowledge mostly in the Aptitude section.

In maths, the questions were usually for the class 11 and 12 section. The aptitude section said to be easy enough to be solved in 20 to 25 minutes. There were no tricky questions as such. candidates were confident in this section.

In the drawing section, there were questions based on replication of figures, questions based on replicating things and questions based on making structures out of the given 3D figures. There were no repeated questions from the January attempt.

Most of the candidates are expecting to score around 95 percentile in paper 2 in this attempt. Note that NTA is going to declare the result in percentile score format. In scorecard, candidates will get to see their percentile score in each section and overall percentile score too. the JEE Main 2019 paper 2 results will be declared by May 15, 2019.

The AIR (All India Rank) will be also declared after the results. the AIR will be based on the best scores of the candidates out of both the attempts. The first attempt of JEE Main 2019 was held on January 08, 09, 10, 11 and 12, 2019. The result for the first attempt has been announced. 2 students have topped the exam with a perfect 100 percentile.

The answer key and question paper are uploaded by the various coaching centers after the exam is over. these are memory based answers and questions. the official answer keys are uploaded by NTA at jeemain.nic.in, 2-3 days after the exam.

JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 exam itself for admission in B.Arch/B.Plan courses in the IIITs, CFTIs, and NITs. JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 exam contains a total of 82 questions and is of a total of 390 marks. There are 30 questions in Part 1 (Mathematics), Part 2 (Aptitude) has 50 questions and the drawing section has 2 questions. Each question carries 4 marks and there is a negative marking of 1 marks for each wrong answer.
