State Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (SCTEVT) has published SCTEVT Diploma Result for Winter 2018 exam. The result of SCTEVT 2018 winter examinations can be checked online at sctevtservices.nic.in. Diploma and ITI students who appeared in exams can check their result by logging in through registration number, student name, date of birth.
The official websites of the council are sctevtservices.nic.in and sctevtodisha.nic.in. As per a decision taken last year, all latest notices of the council now come at sctevtodisha.nic.in instead of Vidyarthi portal sctevtservices.nic.in. Result is announced at the Vidyarthi portal; check here.
At the time of publishing this news, the result section of sctevtservices.nic.in indicates published status against 4th semester winter 2018 (ex-regular), 5th semester (regular, ex-regular), 6th semester (ex-regular). Also, links to check results are activated. However the other website where all notices come is not working, hence no notice was found online.
In order to check result, go to sctevtservices.nic.in. Click on View Results link.
Now navigate to Click here link of that semester of which you took the exam.
Enter all details as asked under the View Result login form. Also enter the captcha code that displays on page. Hit search button to get result. As per the SCTEVT Diploma Result 2018, students are declared passed / failed provisionally during the Winter examination.
Principals of institutions are required to download the mark sheets also upon result declaration. Then they have to match them with result sheets. If all is in order, then they have to put ink signature with Office seal and issue it to the concerned student. This has to be done using Institute ID and by given deadline.
Recently the academic calendar for session 2019-20 was also issued. As per it, induction program for 1st semester Diploma course and coverage of bridge course is from August 5 to 14, 2019. Semester classes shall commence from August 16, 2019, for 1st semester, and from July 15, 2019, for 3rd / 5th / 7th semester.
SCTEVT registration numbers will be issued on September 15, 2019. Semester exams registration shall be in the third week of September. Semester examination will be held from December 10, 2019, for 1st semester students, and from November 15, 2019, for 3rd / 5th / 7th semester students.
Students are to have 39 periods of class per week and each should be of minimum 55 minutes. AICTE Internship Policy is applicable to all students.
State Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training manages Diploma as well as ITI colleges of Odisha. It provides trained technical personnel in a variety of Engineering and Technology fields. It conducts exams, checks papers, declares results for all colleges. This ensures conformity to rules and maintaining an equality.
