RRB Group D Application Status 2018 Announced; Direct Link To Check Status Available Here

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started the facility for checking the application status for RRB Group D Recruitment 2018. The candidates can check whether their application forms have been accepted or by visiting the official website of the Board and then choose your respective RRB.

This year, about 1.5 crores applications were received for RRB Group D Recruitment 2018. Due to such a large number of applications received, various processes were delayed, including the application status. However, now it has been started and the window for checking the application status will be open up to July 20, 2018.

To check the application status for RRB Group D, you need to visit the official website at indianrailways.gov.in. Then click on the respective RRB. Next, click on the link for “Application Status“. On clicking the link, a login page will appear in which you have to enter details such as Registration Number and Date of Birth. Click on “Login” button to submit the details and your application status will then be available on the screen.

With the help of the Application Status facility, you can check whether your Application Form has been accepted or not. It is important that you should check your status because only those candidates will be issued the RRB Group D Admit Card whose application has been accepted.

The entrance test for RRB Group D Recruitment 2018 is scheduled to be held on August 12, 18, 26 and September 9, 16, 2018.

The Board will also release a list of candidates whose application form for RRB Group D has been rejected. The List of rejected application form will be available at the official website in pdf format. Apart from the name of the candidate, the reason for rejection of the Application Form will also be stated in the pdf file.

There are various reasons due to which the Application Form can be rejected. Some of the reasons are, submitted more than one application form, have applied but their result for the year is awaited, does not fulfill eligibility criteria, the signature of the candidate in the documents is not identical, etc.

For Group D, the selection will be done on the basis of a Computer Based Test (CBT). The qualified candidates will then have to undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

As per newspaper reports, it is expected that the RRB Group D Admit Card will be available by July end, most probably 10 days before the test. It will be available for download by online mode only.

For RRB Group D, the vacancies are open for Track Maintainer, Gateman, Pointsman, Helper in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Engineering / Signal & Telecommunication departments, Porters & many more. There are a total 62907 number of vacancies, out of which 31889 vacancies are for General category, 16502 for OBC, 9453 for SC, 5061 for ST.
