As per one of the national daily, it is expected that the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) is expected to start the process of Document Verification from April 12, 2019, onwards. This news has only been specifically focussed for the North Eastern Railway (NER). Candidates have to carry the relevant documents at the divisions such as Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Lucknow, and Izzatnagar. The RRC NER PET exam dates are March 26 to 01 April 2019.
For the RRB Group D document verification, students have to make sure that they carry all the required certificates. Aspirants have to carry the original as well as two-sets of self-attested photocopies of the documents on the specified date, time and venue. Failure of the submission of documents on the allotted date will lead to rejection of the candidature. So, candidates should make sure that they carry it on the day of the exam.
As per the candidates’ performance in CBT followed by the PET which is qualifying in nature. Candidates clearing all the round are called for the round of the document verification. There will also be a tie-breaking criterion in case 2 or more candidates obtain equal marks. The tie is going to be resolved by the date of birth criteria. Candidates of older age will be given preference over the younger one.
Candidates shortlisted for the round of RRB Group D document verification will also be required to pass the medical exam. The medical fitness test is conducted at the Railway Hospitals. The medical round is conducted to check that the candidate is eligible to carry out the duties concetned with the post or not. The medical standards range from “A2” to “C1” as per the posts applied.
The certificates can only be presented in either Hindi or English. In case a document is in some other language then, one should present the self-attested translated version of the same on the document verification day.
The Indian Railways has recently released a notification for the candidates who have always dreamt to be in the government jobs for the Level 1 posts. The total number of vacancies released for the RRC Group D 2019 is 103769. Out of which, 42355 vacancies are UR, 15559 for SC, 7984 for ST, 27378 for OBC, and 10381 EWS. For EX-SM it is 20734, 20734 for CCAA, 4326 for PwBD. The application process has started on March 12, 2019. Candidates who have still not applied should not miss the golden opportunity.
