The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will release the RRB ALP CBT 3 Exam City and Travel Pass today, on April 10, 2019, at 4:00 PM. The Computer-Based Test stage 3 is scheduled to be held on April 16, 2019. Only those candidates are going to undergo the CBT 3 who have applied for the post of Loco Pilot and have qualified the CBT stage 2.
Earlier, the board had updated that the login for RRB ALP Exam City of CBT 3 will be active on April 11, 2019. However, now as per the message displayed, it is showing that “Due to technical reasons, the City Intimation Advice for RRB ALP Stage 3 Exam has been delayed. Please visit for an update after 4 PM on 10-April-2019”.
The complete address of the exam center will be given in the RRB ALP CBT 3 Admit Card. The board will not entertain any kind of request for the change in exam date. The travel pass is issued only to the candidates belonging to SC / ST category. During the time of the journey, candidates must make sure that they carry the travel pass along with the caste certificate. The travel pass is only eligible to travel in the Sleeper Class of a train.
The number of candidates shortlisted for the CBT 3 is 8 times the number of vacancies. A Candidate must also produce Vision Certificate to be eligible to appear for the test. The CBT stage 3 is divided into five sections known by the name of test batteries. The sections are Memory Test Battery, Depth Perception Test Battery, Concentration Test Battery, Perceptual Speed Test Battery, and Following Directions Test Battery.
It is mandatory for the candidates to obtain 42 marks in each test battery to clear the RRB ALP CBT 3. The question in this stage will be either in English or Hindi. There is no negative marking in the test. Candidates obtaining the minimum qualifying marks will only be eligible to be shortlisted for the document verification. The process of document verification will start in May 2019.
RRB ALP CEN 01/2018 Recruitment is open for 64371 vacancies. Out of which 27795 are for Loco Pilot and 36576 are for the Technician posts. The selection of the candidates is based on CBT 1, CBT 2, Aptitude Test followed by the Document Verification. The final appointment of the aspirants is done on as per the medical exam. The medical exam is conducted to ensure that the candidate is fit to carry out the duties associated with the post.
