RPF Ancillary PET and PMT 2019 To Start Soon Aglasem

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has announced the RPF Constable Ancillary Result for CBT on April 25, 2019. Candidates will get to know whether he or she is eligible to undergo the PET and PMT round or not. It is important for the candidates to know the next stage involved in the RPF Constable Ancillary recruitment process to start preparing for it.

The next round is the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). In this round, candidates are required to perform physical activities like running, long jump and high jump. In this round, candidates will not be awarded any marks and it will be qualifying in nature. A candidate is only going to be kept in the consideration if he or she qualifies the test as per the norms.

Candidates need to run for a distance of 800 meters in 3 Min 40 sec. Only one chance will be given to the candidates for running. Aspirants also need to do long jump and high jump of 9 feet and 3 feet respectively. For this round, candidates will get 2 chances. Only those candidates will be eligible for the height and chest measurement who have cleared the 800 meters running.

The chest measurement will only be applicable to the male candidates. Those who do not have minimum height and chest are going to be treated as having failed the RPF Constable Ancillary PET and PMT. Candidates belonging to the Ex-servicemen category are exempted from this round. However, he needs to undergo the Physical Measurement Test.

The RPF Ancillary recruitment is open for 798 vacancies for posts like barber, sweeper, washerman, watercarrier, gardener, tailor, cobbler, etc. The RPF Constable Ancillary selection process is as per the four stages. The first stage which is the computer-based test has been completed now. Eligible candidates will now undergo PET and PMT followed by trade test and document verification.

Those who will clear all the stages of the RPF Constable Ancillary will undergo rigorous training at any of the RPF / RPSF training centers or any institution decided by the board. To be eligible for the appointment it is compulsory for the candidates to pass the final examination.

Candidates who are going to be recruited for the post of Water Carrier, Safaiwala, Washerman, Barber, and Gardener will be recruited on the pay scale of Rs. 21, 700, under Level 3 of 7th CPC. For the post of Tailor and Cobbler, the initial pay scale will be Rs. 19,900, under Level 2 of 7th CPC.
