Rashtriya Military School has delayed the RMS CET (Common Entrance Test) examination for this year. As per the short notice available on the official website, the examination has been delayed amid the covid-19 pandemic scare. The RMS CET 2022 exam was earlier scheduled for January 23, 2022. Now, since the exam has been delayed hence, the admit card release has also been deferred. Candidates can keep a tab on the official website, rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in for more updates regarding the RMS CET 2022.
As of now, the authorities have not dropped any hint regarding the tentative date for the RMS CET admit card release. However, it can be speculated that they are strictly monitoring the whole situation. Also, the examination has been delayed and not cancelled therefore, it is confirmed that the RMS CET 2022 will happen at a later date.
RMS CET is an annual entrance test conducted to provide admission to eligible canddiates in classes 6 and 9 across different military schools situated in the country. The admission is provided on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the written examination and subsequent interview round. In a bid to get final selection, candidates have to clear the minimum cut off marks fixed for their category.
Currently, there are five Rashtriya Military Schools in India namely, Belgaum, Chail, Bangalore, Dholpur and Ajmer. However, the examination is conducted pan India across multiple centres located in the country. There is no domicile barrier for participating in this examination.
The selection process of RMS CET 2022 comprises a written test followed by an interview round. The written examination is going to have 200 questions from Mathematics, Intelligence test, General Knowledge & Current Affairs and English. The minimum qualifying marks for three subjects is 40% of the total marks and 35% of the total only for English paper. The CET examination shall be conducted in the OMR sheet mode. Post completion of the written exam round, an interview for 20 marks shall be conducted to check the overall personality of the candidate.
