Rani Laxmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi invites eligible candidates to fill up the vacant posts of JRF/ Project Associate, Scientific Administrative Assistant/ Field Worker, Laboratory Assistant/ Project Assistant, and Young Professional-II. The conducting body has announced a total of 08 vacancies for the posts. The recruitment for the announced posts is based on the walk-in-interview round. Eligible candidates can submit their forms before the last date, August 08, 2020. Candidates who have M.Sc. in Genetics/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Agricultural Botany/ Plant physiology plus four years Bachelor’s degree can apply for JRF. Those who have Postgraduate degree in the above-mentioned course with three years bachelor’s degree along with NET/GATE qualification are also eligible for the announced post. Those who have graduated in any discipline can apply for Scientific Administrative Assistant/ Field Worker. To apply for Laboratory Assistant/ Project Assistant, candidates must have Graduation B. Sc (Bio)/B. Tech in Biotechnology/B. Sc (Agriculture) Honours. An M. Sc degree in Agronomy with knowledge in computers is required for Young Professionals – II post.
Along with the educational qualification, candidates must also possess relevant work experience in concerned fields for each post. Those who are applying for JRF/Project Associate-I post, the upper age limit is 35 years. For all other posts, the upper age limit for male candidates is 40 years and for female candidates, it is 45 years.
Eligible candidates can submit their forms through online (email) process. They can get the application form by visiting the official website rlbcau.ac.in. Candidates have to mark their work experience, date of the interview, name of the post, category, details of the publications, mode of the interview and other additional information. The filled-in applications form should be sent to registrar email ID: [email protected].
The conducting body organizes interview to shortlist eligible candidates. However, due to COVID-19 crisis, candidates have an option to opt for either in-person interview or online video conferencing interview. The timings for each posts interview is mentioned in the official notification. The list of those candidates who will get shortlisted for the post will be uploaded on the website. The shortlisted candidates have to carry relevant documents, certificate, mark sheets, application with full bio-data, passport size photograph, to the interview round in case of an in-person interview. For those who choose online interview, their documents will get verified in later stages.
