NCERT will start the registration process for Regional Institute of Education Common Entrance Examination (RIE CEE) 2019 from 12 April. Interested candidates will able to fill the application until May 12, 2019. The forms release on the official website, cee.ncert.gov.in. The RIE CEE conducts for admission to teaching programmes at the graduate and post-graduate level.
Candidates can apply for RIE CEE 2019 in order to take admission to any of the courses among BA BEd, BSc BEd, BEd, MSc Ed, MEd, BEd-MEd programmes. The application form needs to be filled online with valid and authentic details. The whole procedure is a five-step process which includes registration, login, documents uploading, application form submission, and payment of fees.
Post applying for RIE CEE 2019, candidates must check the eligibility criteria which is different for all the courses. Basic eligibility requires minimum education qualification and aggregate marks. As per the last year, the application fee is Rs 800/- for General & OBC and Rs. 400/- for SC / ST/ PWD candidates. Only after the submission fee, the application form will be accepted by NCERT.
As per the RIE CEE 2019 Exam pattern and Syllabus, there will be 80 questions in the exam. They are divided into three sections naming language proficiency in English, teaching aptitude, and reasoning ability with 20, 30, and 30 questions respectively. Each question carries two marks and there is negative marking of 0.5 marks for an incorrect answer. The question types will vary for Group A, B, and C, these are B.Sc.B.Ed./ B.A. B.Ed./M.Sc. Ed, B.Ed./B.Ed.-M.Ed (Integrated), and M.Ed. respectively.
The admit card for RIE CEE will be released between 20 May – 06 June 2019. It releases online and can be downloaded using login Id and password. All the candidates must check if all the details mentioned on it are correct. After the conduction of the exam, students have to upload the marks of the qualifying examination before the last date.
Candidates who have applied for B.Sc.B.Ed. (4-year), B.A.B.Ed. (4-year) or M.Sc.Ed. (6-year), must fill the qualifying marks before 20 June. Once this process is over, NCERT will release CEE 2019 Result for these courses on 10 July. Similarly, students who are filling forms for B.Ed., B.Ed.M.Ed. Integrated (3-year) and M.Ed have to submit the exam details until 08 July. The result for these programmes will be announced on 20 July.
National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) conducts the national level exam for teacher education.
