PGIMER is inviting application for the Assistant Professor from Indian Nationals possessing medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule of IMC Act 1956. Moreover, they should also have a post-graduate degree in the concerned subject. In addition, to the educational qualification candidates should also have minimum 01-03 years of work experience in the relevant field. Candidates who are applying for Assistant Professor post should also ensure that their age should be not more than that of 50 years as on October 17, 2020. However, PGIMER also provides the age relaxation to reserved category candidates. The upper age limit is relaxed up to 05 years for SC/ST/ Central Govt. Servant and up to 03 years for OBC.
The application form for PGIMER recruitment can only be submitted by following the offline mode. Eligible and interested candidates have to visit the official website, pgimer.edu.in, to download the application form. The filled in application form should be submitted via post to Administrative Officer (Recruitment Cell), PGIMER, Sector-12, Chandigarh 160012.
While applying for the said post, candidates also have to pay the application fee. The last date to pay the fee through challan is October 12, 2020. Those who belong to SC/ST category have to pay Rs. 800/- as the application fee whereas all other candidates have to pay Rs. 1500/-. Candidates belonging to the Person with Disability category are exempted from the fee submission. The fee should be paid through bank challan by visiting the State Bank of India branch.
